Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which Evoastra Ventures (OPC) Private Limited ("we", "us", "our", "Evoastra") handles refund requests, cancellations, and related processes for internship programs, training courses, SaaS subscriptions, and other paid digital services offered through our platform.

By making a payment on our platform, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this policy. This policy is to be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions.

2. Refund Eligibility Window

2.1 Conditions for a Full Refund

A full refund will be processed if all of the following conditions are met:

• The refund request is submitted within 48 hours of the payment transaction.
• You have not attended any live mentorship sessions, orientation calls, or team assignments.
• You have not accessed more than 20% of the course/program materials.
• You have not submitted any assignments, projects, or assessments.
• No certificate or credential has been issued to you.

2.2 Conditions for a Partial Refund

A partial refund may be considered (at our sole discretion) in the following circumstances:

• Request is made between 48 hours and 7 days after enrollment, with minimal platform usage.
• Documented medical emergencies or unforeseen personal circumstances (supporting documentation required).
• Technical issues on our end that prevented access to the program for an extended period.

Partial refunds, if approved, will be calculated based on the unused portion of the program minus an administrative processing fee of up to 20% of the total amount paid.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

• The refund request is made after 7 calendar days from the date of payment.
• You have attended live sessions, completed assignments, or used more than 20% of the program content.
• A certificate, recommendation letter, or any credential has been generated or issued.
• You were removed from the program due to policy violations, misconduct, plagiarism, or breach of Terms.
• You simply changed your mind or found an alternative program (unless within the 48-hour window).
• Promotional, discounted, or scholarship-based enrollments (unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of enrollment).
• SaaS platform subscription fees after the subscription period has commenced and services have been rendered.

4. Cancellation Process

4.1 How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

1. Send an email to support@evoastra.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Full Name]".
2. Include the following details in your email:
   • Full name as registered on the platform.
   • Registered email address.
   • Program/course enrolled in.
   • Date of payment and transaction reference number.
   • Reason for the refund request.
3. Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 7-10 business days from approval.

4.2 Cancellation by the Company

We reserve the right to cancel your enrollment and issue a pro-rated refund if:

• The program or batch is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
• Unforeseen circumstances prevent us from delivering the program as promised.
• Technical or operational issues make it impractical to continue the program.

In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your enrollment to the next available batch at no additional cost.

6. Digital Service Limitations

Please note the following inherent characteristics of digital services:

• Digital content and services, once accessed or consumed, cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense.
• Access to program materials, mentor sessions, and platform features constitutes consumption of the digital service.
• Certificate issuance, even in digital form, represents delivery of a verifiable credential and is considered a completed service.

7. Program Transfers & Deferrals

• Subject to availability, you may request a one-time transfer to a different batch of the same program at no additional cost, provided the request is made at least 5 days before your current batch start date.
• Program deferrals to a future batch are permitted once per enrollment, subject to batch availability.
• Transfers between different program types (e.g., Data Science to Data Analytics) may involve fee adjustments based on the price difference.

8. Consumer Rights

This policy is structured in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Nothing in this policy limits or overrides your statutory consumer rights under Indian law.
