MAKING YOUR WORK VISIBLE
A better way to talk about what you built.
Turn a list of tools into a clear story about your thinking.
Lead with the problem
Start with what you were trying to solve and who would find it useful. A tool name means more once the reader understands the task.
Explain one meaningful decision
Choose a decision where you considered alternatives. Why did you use a certain chart? How did you handle incomplete data? What did you simplify in the interface? Make the reasoning easy to follow.
Be specific about the result
Describe what the project does and how you checked it. Avoid claiming business impact you did not measure. A careful, honest explanation makes the work easier to assess.
Include what you learned
Share a limitation and a sensible next step. Understanding where your work can improve is part of understanding your work.
